What you're agreeing to when you use this site or hire me for a project.
I'm a freelance developer. Depending on what you need, that could mean a website, a web app, a Telegram bot, an Android app, automation scripts, e-commerce integration, or backend systems. Every project is a separate agreement — there's no one-size-fits-all.
We agree on scope, deliverables, timeline, and price before I touch anything. This happens in writing — email, WhatsApp message, or a formal quote. That written agreement is what I'll hold myself to, and what I'll hold you to.
If you want to change the scope mid-project, that's usually fine, but it may mean more time and cost. I'll tell you upfront.
Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) unless we've agreed otherwise for international work.
Once you've paid in full, the custom code and deliverables I built for your project are yours. Any open-source libraries or frameworks used stay under their own licences — you can check those yourself.
Unless you ask me not to, I'll keep the project in my portfolio. If you'd rather I didn't, just say so in writing.
If delays happen on your end, the timeline shifts — I won't absorb your delays into my schedule.
I'm not responsible for losses caused by third-party services (hosting going down, payment APIs failing, etc.), or by how you use what I've built after handover. My total liability for any dispute is capped at the amount you paid me for that project.
Anything you share with me about your business stays between us. I won't share it, and I won't use it for anything outside our project. If you need a signed NDA, I can do that.
The content on https://suprakashdolai.com — design, copy, project screenshots — belongs to me. Don't copy it without asking. Don't try to break into the server. Pretty standard stuff.
These terms are governed by the laws of West Bengal, India. If we ever end up in a dispute we can't resolve by talking, it goes to the courts in West Bengal.
