This applies to all freelance services I offer — websites, apps, bots, automation tools, and anything else. If
you've paid for something and things haven't gone as expected, here's how I handle it.
✓ Refund possible
- Cancelled before any work starts
- Delivery doesn't match what was agreed
- Bug on my end that can't be fixed
✕ No refund
- Work already completed or approved
- Client delayed or changed the scope
- Third-party costs (hosting, APIs, domains)
When you can get a refund
- You cancel within 24 hours of payment, before any development has started
- The final delivery is clearly missing features that were agreed on in writing
- There's a critical technical fault on my side that I can't resolve after reasonable attempts
Refund requests must be raised within 14 days of delivery. After that it's too
late.
When refunds won't apply
- Major development work has been completed and delivered
- You've approved any milestone, design, or proof of the project
- The issue is something you changed your mind about after the fact
- Delays happened because of slow responses or missing content on your end
- Costs for third-party services — hosting providers, domain registrars, SMS APIs etc. — these are
non-refundable regardless
Partial refunds
If the project was partly done and you want to cancel, I'll look at what's been completed and
offer a fair partial amount. There's no fixed formula — I'll be transparent about it.
How to request one
Email me at contact@suprakashdolai.com with your name, what you purchased,
and why you're requesting a refund. I'll respond within 7 days. If it's approved, the refund goes back to the
original payment method within 14 business days.
